CONTINUING WITH THE SIDES:

My Sunday

Continue cutting the inlay, section by section, it really doesn't matter how large the section you work on are, just keep it manageable.
I have removed the plans from the veneer and drawn the final section directly onto the veneer. I hope this shows the process a little clearer.

Secure the inlay veneer behind the side panel with painters tape.

Drill an entry hole for the scroll saw blade, as this is the final section of inlay, drill the hole at an angle of about 10 degrees to hide the entry point.

Cut in a clockwise direction around the inlay section.

Remove from the scroll saw, remove the cut out material by gently pressing from the front with a small implement. separate the top and bottom material, discarding the top layer.

Glue around the edge of the cutout.

gently place the inlay piece in the cutout, and press into position. Allow the glue to dry before scraping smooth.
